On March 12th The Lynda Steele show is hosting a live on-air fundraiser, where CKNW personalities will shave off their beloved beards to raise a few bucks for the CKNW Kids' Fund.
Even though it's not being officially advised, many people are choosing to wear face masks to protect against the effects of the new coronavirus outbreak. But did you know that beards make their use ineffective? It's because the facial hair gets in the way of the mask forming a tight seal. So the Lynda Steele team gathered a range of CKNW personalities to shave off their beloved beards, all to raise a few bucks for us!
Charles Adler, Larry Gifford, Eric Chapman, Amir Ali, Alan Regan and more will all participate in the live on-air fundraiser, which takes place on Thursday 12 March.
