Over the past two years, families with kids with special needs have faced some incredible hurdles as they abruptly lost access to the health, social and educational supports they relied on. The CKNW Kids’ Fund witnessed these struggles firsthand, seeing a record-breaking number of funding requests this year — 25% more than in 2020.
Because the CKNW Kids’ Fund is one of the few organizations in British Columbia that provides grants for individual families, and because we understand that the needs of equipment, therapies, treatments, and support are unique for every family, we are an essential source of funding to many.
Our 44th Annual CKNW Kids’ Fund Pledge Day, on November 30th, will be broadcast live on 980 CKNW.
